MISSION STATEMENT: The Selah Youth Football Association (SYFA) is committed to the support of the Selah Grid Kids, and the advancement of youth football in the Selah community.

PURPOSE: The Selah Youth Football Association was founded in 2008 to better coordinate and administer the Selah Grid Kid football program. The Selah Tomahawks is a football program for youth aged 8 to 13. The program has three different age groups: 8-9 (Freshman), 10-11 (Junior Varsity), and 12-13 (Varsity). The Tomahawks in 2008 served about 100 youth and had 5 teams competing in the Yakima Valley Grid Kid Association which has many communities represented in and around the Yakima Valley.

There will be Indoor Football this Spring! In association with the Yakima Valley Grid Kids and the Yakima Warriors (new indoor football team in the Sundome) a youth league will be started with Yakima Valley youth aged 8 and 9 and 10 and 11 (next season ages). If you are interested in more information please check the YVGKA website at the bottom of this page.
